I painted this image during a summer art program I attended in 2024. During an afternoon painting activity, I asked some friends sitting across from me if I could paint them. I felt drawn to exhibit the contrasting colors of the blue and yellow/browns. My favorite part of this painting are the clothes (particularly the stripped shirt), and the calm yet focused expressions on my friend’s faces.
