I went on a 2 hour hike to get to this stunning view of the town neighboring Saint-Jean-De-Luz. Compositionally, I chose this setting due to the contrast between the bright sand and the old sea walls. I had fun playing around with how the watercolor could be used to portray a moving ocean.
