When creating this piece, I really wanted to play around with creamy oil pastels and a restricted color palette. I used my fingers to blend the colors and to scratch away layers to create texture.

My color choices were inspired by the concentrated and monochromatic color palettes in the webcomic Lore Olympus, as well as blue monochromatic paintings in general. They led me to adore the vibrant nuances of the color blue.

This piece was displayed in a school art gallery later in 2022.
